Rent/Utility Assistance
Rent and utility assistance is provided to those who are in past due on their rent and or electric, gas and water bills. We offer financial assistance and we also speak to the landlord and utility companies on behalf of the client.
The client is responsible for keeping any arrangements we set up with the landlord and utility companies. A client can only receive assistance two times in a twelve-month period for rent and/or utility assistance.
Financial assistance is based on the availability of funds.
​We also collaborate with other organizations who provide temporary and permanent housing. If we are unable to place a client immediately into housing, they will be referred to one of these organizations as well as placed on our waiting list.
